1-b)
Mesopotamian Civilization- The Mesopotamian Civilization was one of the earliest civilization. It was built near the the river Tigris and Euphrates. It occupied most of modern day Iraq, Kuwait, the eastern parts of Syria, southeastern parts of Turkey and the Turkish-Syrian and Iran-Iraq border. After inventing the wheel the Mesopotamians started using it as a pottery wheel. Later they figured out that they could use it to make vehicles move too.

2-a)
Olmecs-The Olmecs were the earliest Mesoamerican civilization we know about till now. They controlled most parts of the Mexican states of Veracruz and Tabasco. They built pyramids to house their deities and bury their king.

3-b)
Boys hunting in the woods- During World War II 4 teenage boys were hunting in the woods with their hound in France. While the boys were tracking an injured bird, the hound vanished into a hole at the foot of a cliff face. The boys crawled in to find their hound. They found the hound, but also the first Stone-Age caves ever discovered! Later they told the local teacher, Leon Laval. At first he didn't believe them, but when experts verified that these were ancient Stone-Age caves, he believed them.

4-b)
Horse- The Harrapans were a people who lived in the Indus Valley Civilization that was built on the banks of the Indus river. It is believed that they may not have been familiar with horses because horses only live on grassy plains. And the area near the Indus Valley Civilization was full of forests, so, this would have been the reason that the Harrapans may not have been familiar with the horse.

5-c)
Amerigo Vespucci- You guessed it, Amerigo Vespucci was a explorer, merchant and a navigator from Florence, Italy. America is named after him because he was the first person to declare that Columbus had discovered another continent.
